LIfe Regret Free

John 10:10 says "that the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, I have come that they might have life and have it to the full." I believe many of us do not feel like this, in fact most of us have regrets of past events or past mistakes. But just like our sin, our memories and regret, are in the past, the future is yours to create. I believe as did Solomon in Ecclesiastes 3, that God created the world that we live in to be enjoyed and our lives to enjoy it. For all parts of life are vanity, and have no point, but we are only here for a time and to dust we will eventually return, so we need to live. Part of living is the ability and decision to live. What are you doing with that?

There are many churches and denominations ou there that try to restrict your living, now I am not saying go out and sin, but I believe God has given us freedom to be free to live and enjoy life. "Live, drink and be merry for tomorrow we die." Not a quote from Dave Mattews Band, but from Solomon in Ecclesiastes. In my own words live, and live with no regrets. A life regret free with God will try to be sin free, but it will also be an experienced life; a life that has taken chances, taken its fears and faced them. A life full of joy, not happiness, for the joyful life is enjoyed with God. Your Father in heaven created you and loves to watch you enjoy life, he is not trying to keep you tied up with tired old programs in church. But God tells us to go into the world and preach the gospel, and through experiencing life we will do this. For there are places that we have not yet reached yet, places that people are waiting for us to establish a relationship with them. And through these relationships we can show the love of Jesus. But this is not accomplished in a life that is not living, but one that lives with no regrets. A one free of the walls of church, for we are the church and the walls don't exist in a wide open world. So what are you doing with life?

Again, many of us come home from our jobs, our schools, our churches, and isolate ourselves in a man-made world, and the God-made one is calling saying, "live, drink and be merry." I don't know what it means for you to live a life of no regrets, but I know what it means for me. And it means to experience, to stop the insanity of my routines week in an week out, and make time in my schedule to experience life. To fulfill the longing in my heart to open my eyes to new sites, new adventures, and new terrain. To see what life can be, and to see where it can take you. Outside of a lonely regretful life, and transformed into a life full of overwhelming joy that is incomprehensible for those outside it!

Living...?

* Living is the idea of un-missed opportunities, of no regrets, of having a full life. *

There are too many of us that are going through life as simplest as we can, some due to fear, others due to their comfort zone, and yet others because the way the world is set up isolates us to one place. But their is life out there, things that have never been experienced, mountains to climb, sites to see, new tastes and new memories. We are making a mockery of life, when we do the same thing over and over again. God created life and as he says gave "us life to the fullest." Whatever that might be for you, your Creator is waiting for you, to go out, to discover, to partake in living a way of life that is full of joy. From watching the rain fall down, leaves fall, or sun shine; there is life all around us. And though seasons may change and things fade away, your experiences and memories are forever with you.

Maybe the reason you life seems so lost and worthless, is simply because you are not hearing the voice of your Father saying "your not alone, I never leave you." The scriptures say that all of Creation speaks of God's presence. They feel it, and their presence allows others to feel God. The world that we live in today is one where most of us live inside, in our homes, our boats, our cars, our toys; and we live in a man-made world, and miss the God-made one. How a drop of sunshine can cure most depression, and a friendly hello to a stranger can lift one's spirit. There is something deep inside creation that cannot be explained, and cannot be given through man's creation. It holds the mystery of God, for he created and sustains all things.

So the question is this, are you living? You may appear to have a heart beat, and though you may be breathing, is your life full of joy? The bible speaks of followers of Christ in prison or at the point of death praising God for they know what living is. Its about relationships, and most importantly a relationship with the Creator. The deepest of all relationships lies here, and living your life with joy is taken from here. Living is experiencing God, and not man. Once you have this is place everything is viewed differently, and you have purpose. Purpose; the one thing that many people waste a lifetime to seek and yet never fulfill. Are you living?
